One of my co-workers, said civilization ends where the restaurants don’t bring sweet tea as the default response to ordering ice tea.  Northern folk don’t understand that you can’t make proper sweet tea, by added sugar to cold tea.  (Sweetener has to be added while the tea is hot.)
